Mission

Matiss Tour, a not-for-profit organization, pioneers the organization of events dedicated to promoting the development of junior golf in the province of Quebec :

• by organizing competitions in the province of Quebec and in the United States for girls and boys aged 7 to 18 who want to improve their skills or be introduced to competition;
  
  
• by giving them the opportunity to exceed their personal abilities and capacities all while promoting a friendly, family atmosphere.

• • Respect – We believe that the actions of the Matiss Tour must be carried out with appreciation for the specific needs of participants, parents, volunteers, sponsors and event hosts.
  
  
• • Integrity – We believe in the importance of respect for the rules of the game of golf.
  
  
• • Collaboration – We believe in sharing common missions and in communication with the diverse partakers of our sport to carry out our objectives.
  
  
• Accomplishment – We believe that our actions contribute to the personal development of our participants and encourage them to become involved in this realization.
  

• Promote and develop junior golf in the province of Quebec.
  
  
• Encourage the participation of all players, either male or female, beginner or advanced.
  
  
• Offer another alternative within the competition circuit structure in the province of Quebec.
  
  
• Introduce young people from 6 to 9 years old to competition by adapting courses to their physical capacities.
  
  
• Extend the season for junior golfers by organizing competitions outside the province of Quebec.
  
  
• Inform parents of a course of action for their child as regards to potential competitions according to the level of play.
